Waupaca Boatride - July, 2022
Something you may not know about me is that I love playing grass volleyball. After trying out indoor volleyball in college, I found my way outdoors to start playing in grass tournaments. These games are typically 3v3 or coed 4v4, making each one action-packed.
Anyway, every year I travel to Oshkosh, Wisconsin with my volleyball buddies to play in the world's largest outdoor volleyball tournament, the Waupaca Boatride.
For our accommodations, my friends and I stay at a farmhouse AirBnb complete with highland cattle, donkeys, chickens, ducks, and the occasional peacock. Not only do I get to play competitive volleyball and hangout with my friends for a weekend, but I get to do so surrounded by animals. My dream retirement gig is to be a hobby farmer, so you can imagine how happy I am to stay there.
My second year visiting, I thought it would be fun to break out the tele-zoom lens and get some close-ups of my barnyard friends. Please keep in mind I stayed a safe distance away and was behind an electric fence while taking these photos.
